Every culture develops a collective imagination in its social context which, through incorporation, modifies the postures of bodies and the inner image of one's own body. Recognising images that have marked one's own culture, feeling them as one's own, is a process that takes place every day, although unconsciously. But what happens if images from countries far away from our cultural context become embodiment material for the creation of a dance solo? And what if the resulting postures are transmitted to a body that does not recognise them? Other OtherNess is an investigation into these questions.
