Analisi della bellezza

concept, choreography and direction Marta Bichisao, Vincenzo Schino | performers Marta Bichisao, Luca Piomponi, Sabrina Rigoni, Simone Scibilia, C.L.Grugher | production PinDoc, OPERABIANCO

ANALISI DELLA BELLEZZA is a territory of research that investigates the tension between two aesthetic systems—the Baroque and Minimalism—exploring their short circuits and possible creative convergences. The practices cross the form and its disintegration, the body as a place of listening and transformation, the hybridization of codes and perceptual frequencies, the conflict between order and chaos, structure and rupture.
ANALISI DELLA BELLEZZA unfolds through moments of choreographic work within the group, sharing in the form of open workshops, and self-training through exchanges with intellectuals (Sara Baranzoni and Pietro Gaglianò in 2026) in a space of collective experimentation. The desire is to intertwine with plural bodies and sensibilities.
In the first residencies, OPERABIANCO delves into one of the central cores of its choreographic language: the dialogue with the history of painting, representation, and the representation of death. Returning to the origins of the tableau vivant as a territory of investigation into anatomy and image, the research engages with references such as Bill Viola, Susan Sontag, Sergei Parajanov, and Francisco Goya, intertwining vision, physicality, and memory in a radical reflection on the gaze and time.
