FALLEN ANGELS is a symphony about bodies falling in the present, immortalized in a hyperkinetic suspension, between high and low, ascent and ruin. The image of falling rebel angels is shifted and recontextualized to an observation on recent musical phenomena (traps and drifts: protagonists, narratives, self-representations, aesthetics). We ask what frequency embodies the body experiencing this present in a continuous state of advancement, acceleration, innovation, as well as saturation, inertia, and anachronism. The body dancing to the invisible notes of F.A. immerses itself in an “existential” condition of the fall, vaporizes its matter. This “plural” body transcends into a chorus of post-human voices, of shattered and muddy verses: it is “tragedy becoming timbre”.
