OPERABIANCO

OPERABIANCO is an artistic research group founded by Marta Bichisao, dancer and choreographer, and Vincenzo Schino, director and visual artist. Since 2006, it chooses the theatrical universe for multilingual explorations between dance, performing art, visual arts and video.
In conventional and non spaces, it invents an open stage for complex dramaturgies: immersive experiences that challenge the usual form of fruition by offering the audience alternative postures and points of view.
It investigates the dialectic between comic and tragic in the relationship between performer and stage, between human and universe. Film culture inspires the vision with a continuous shift between close-up and long field, between portrait and landscape.
