Michael Incarbone

Michael Incarbone born in 1995, is a multidisciplinary artist, dancer, performer, and choreographer. He trained in the Contemporary Dance Department of the Accademia Nazionale di Danza in Rome, where he graduated with top honors (summa cum laude). As a performer and dancer, he has collaborated with several companies and artists, including Georgia Tegou and Michalis Theophanous (UK), Virgilio Sieni, ALDES – Roberto Castello, Giuseppe Muscarello, and DNA Dance Company. He is currently collaborating with Kinkaleri, ALDES – Roberto Castello, Compagnia Adriana Borriello Dance Research, Giselda Ranieri, Ilenia Romano, and the artistic collective Polisonum. He is one of the artists selected for the Nouveau Grand Tour (1st edition), an artist residency project between France and Italy supported by the Italian Ministry of Culture (MiC), the Italian Cultural Institute in Paris, and the French Cultural Institute in Rome. He is an associate artist with the dance production organization PinDoc, with which he has created several performative works, including fin che ci trema il cuore (2025), FALLEN ANGELS (2023/2024), FLLNGLS (2024), meta – morphing (2022), and About a Revolution (2021). He has also developed audiovisual projects such as where you can find me. disappearance and GO ASK ALICE, the latter winner of the Roma Danza Prize 2020. His works have been presented in numerous national and European festivals and contexts, including Teatri di Vetro Festival, Vetrina della Giovane Danza d’Autore – Network Anticorpi XL, Giacimenti – National Network for Young Talents, HangartFest Festival of Contemporary Dance, Prima Onda Festival, Incastro Festival, Le Danzatrici En Plain Air, Festival Testimonianze Ricerca Azioni – Teatro Akropolis, TenDance Festival, Tram Company Blu Season, SPAM – Rete per le Arti Contemporanee, FiC Festival – Scenario Pubblico, Orbita | Spellbound, Più che Danza Festival, KLAP Maison pour la danse Marseille, Festa della Danza di Roma, Festival Danza Estate, Venere in Teatro Festival, BIG – Bari International Gender Festival, and Umbria Danza Festival. In 2025, he is among the artists selected for IDRA Connect, a project by IDRA Teatri in Brescia. For 2026/2027, he is developing two new productions: we are who we are, co-created with French choreographer and performer Max Gomard, co-produced by Orbita | Spellbound – National Dance Production Center in Rome, and Draunara (working title), a collaboration with musician Edoardo Maria Bellucci and costume designer Giulia Cauti and Roberta Nicolai, we are who we are and Draunara.
