“FLLNGLS” was created as a spin-off of the play ‘FALLEN ANGELS,’ as a performance presented in urban spaces and non-theatrical settings, a “live set duo” between choreographic and musical writing. The title, in a contracted and evocative form, plays on verbal language by manipulating its form, just as the choreographic matter is transposed to a “sequence plan” vision where the body multiplies in a kaleidoscope of stormy images.
The matter is always the same: an “existential” fall, eternally suspended to reflect a reflection on the social, political and aesthetic present by means of a framing on the mythopoetic universe of “trap” music (protagonists, narratives, self- representations, aesthetics). We ask what frequency embodies
the body that lives this present in a continuous state of advancement, acceleration, innovation, as well as saturation, inertia, and anachronism.
