PAESAGGI CON FIGURE arises from the desire to unsettle the material and immaterial boundaries between performers and spectators, weaving a discreet choreography into the flow of daily life. In a high-density square, dance inhabits the space, making the limits between art and urban rhythm permeable. The composition proceeds through subtraction and clandestinity: the performers blend into social rules until small, delicate and anomalous gestures reveal them. The accumulation of these gestures creates moving sculptural figures, apparitions that emerge without imposition, following the energy of the place.
The audience moves freely, sits, talks, and blends among passersby, creating their own narrative through mobile points of view. Dance emerges and dissolves into a space that flows uncontrollably, generating visions that interrogate the square as a place of invention and fragility. Cinematic framing, particularly by Antonioni, influences the rhythm and composition.
