Cadavre Exquis is a project of experimental dance started in 2014 in Rome. The group is named after the surrealist game where different people complete sentences or drawings without knowing the contribution of the others. Likewise, the autonomy in the relationship of bodies, that share the same "dramaturgical environments" based on instant composition, is the key element of the group's creations. The group has partecipated to several festivals: OT301 Amsterdam, Teatro Tor Bella Monaca, Teatro Biblioteca Quarticciolo, Teatro Villa Doria Pamphilj, Festival Peraspera, Passages, TenDance, Corpografie, SPAM, Arte.Rie.
Today Cadavre Exquis, supported by the PinDoc, is made up of the two group's founders, Giordano Novielli (Meekers/A. Rosenfeld, A. Denk, L. M. Stockholm, M. Piazza, T.O.R., Excursus) and Lorenzo Giansante (freelance director and performer who has collaborated among the others with laLut, MAddAI and Sistemi Dinamici Altamente Instabili), with the addition of Leonardo Maietto (T. Shegal, S. Forti, C. Rizzo, P. Frenak, K. Saportà, W. Dorner, E. Cosimi, E. Calcagno).
